SADC welcomes Howard Russell as director to the board, representing the Labrador White Bear Development Associaiton. It is great to see the seat of Labrador White Bear represented, it has been vacant for the past year. There is just seven months remaining in the term, and elections will take place in 2011. The board meets a minimum of 6 times during the year, with meetings circulating throughout the region. Howard's role as LWB director is to represent all socio-economic development issues in the subzone (Norman Bay, Charlottetown, Pinsent's Arm, PHS & William's Harbour).

We look forward to working with Howard to help improve the economy of the Cartwright – Lodge Bay area.
